The facility was inaugurated on Thursday evening by Emil Ahmed Sobhan, managing director of Sanvir Bashundhara Group (SBG). Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan, managing director of Tanvir Bashundhara Group (TBG), delivered the opening remarks.
Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan and SBG Chairman Safiat Sobhan Sanvir were also present, along with officials from Bashundhara Group and its affiliated companies.
According to Bashundhara Super Golf Chief Operating Officer Rezaur Rahman Khan, the facility uses an automated ball collection and return system designed to reduce the time players spend searching for golf balls.
After a player hits a ball, an underground automated network carries it to a collection point. The ball is then cleaned by an automatic machine before being transported through a pipeline back to the tee point at the player’s bay.
The facility has 68 deluxe bays across its first and second floors. Each bay can accommodate up to six players and has a dedicated bay host and bay runner to assist with gameplay and food service.
The bays are available from 6am to 2am, with hourly rates divided into low, medium and peak periods.
The third floor features 17 VIP suites, each accommodating up to 16 people. The suites include private air conditioned rooms, presentation and meeting facilities, shower rooms and premium food service.
Bashundhara Super Golf also offers digital tracking through a dedicated app, allowing players to record their shots and share selected performances on social media.
The facility has four indoor golf simulators offering virtual access to 207 golf courses around the world, including the historic St Andrews course in Scotland. The simulators also provide training options involving different terrains and putting.
A separate simulator based training facility is available for people learning golf under professional coaches.
Beyond golf, the complex includes a restaurant called Nineteenth Hole, along with Cafe Amazon, Terra China, which follows Chinese and Japanese themes, and Urban Crave.
There are also three billiards tables, five meeting rooms for small meetings involving two to 10 people and a banquet hall designed for social events.
A dedicated kids club has been set up for children, offering a space for recreation and social activities. The complex also has a medical room for emergency health services.
For regular golfers, the facility offers Platinum and Platinum Plus memberships at annual fees of Tk 200,000 and Tk 500,000 respectively. Membership benefits include unlimited play and discounts on food and events. Corporate and family packages are also available.
Rezaur Rahman Khan, head of operations, and Bay Operations Manager Arup Fabian Gomes said the facility was designed to combine golf, technology, recreation and social interaction under one roof.
The management expects the facility to serve not only golfers but also families, friends and corporate groups seeking a venue for recreation, meetings and social gatherings.
