The organizers announced the details during a press conference held yesterday at the Pushpanganjali Hall of ICCB. The event is being organized by Wizard Showbiz, with ICCB as the venue partner.
Key figures present at the press conference included BARVIDA General Secretary Reaz Rahman, Fair Group Head of Group Marketing Taslim Kabir, BYD Bangladesh Head of Category Development and Marketing Imtiaz Nousher, Trust Bank PLC Vice President and Head of Retail Banking Division Md. Wahed Ibne Shahed, Chery Bangladesh Head of Sales Abu Naser Mahmud, Wizard Showbiz Chairman Md. Fayez Ullah, CEO Arifuzzaman Russel, and ICCB Chief Operating Officer M. M. Jasim Uddin.
Addressing the media, speakers stated that the primary objective of the 'Super Sale Car Bazar' is to bring top automobile and motorcycle brands, dealerships, financial institutions, and related service providers onto a single platform. Through this weekly marketplace, customers can buy and sell new, reconditioned, and used cars and motorcycles, while accessing vehicle services and financing solutions.
Panelists noted that while Bangladesh's automobile market is expanding rapidly, there remains a need for a regular, organized, and reliable marketplace. The 'Super Sale Car Bazar' aims to fulfill this gap while strengthening direct engagement among automotive traders, consumers, and service partners.
"With the growing demand in Bangladesh's automobile market, the need for a modern, recurring marketplace has become essential. The 'Super Sale Car Bazar' is a timely initiative to meet that demand," speakers noted during the event. They added that the platform gives buyers the opportunity to inspect and compare multiple brands and models under one roof, while allowing sellers to directly reach targeted customers.
According to the organizers, each Friday event will feature participation from major car and motorcycle brands, dealerships, banking partners, and automotive service firms. Additionally, individual owners will have the opportunity to buy and sell new, reconditioned, and pre-owned vehicles at special promotional rates.
Automotive experts and representatives from local car and bike enthusiast communities present at the event also commended the initiative for standardizing the local trade experience.
