The marketplace has been launched through a joint initiative of Wizard Showbiz and ICCB, offering buyers and sellers an opportunity to buy and sell different types of vehicles under one roof.
Tanvir Bashundhara Group (TBG) Managing Director Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan inaugurated the marketplace as the chief guest at a ceremony held at ICCB. Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA) Secretary General Riaz Rahman, Wizard Showbiz Chief Executive Officer Arifuzzaman Russell and ICCB Chief Operating Officer M.M. Jasim Uddin were also present.
Representatives from the country's automobile sector, banks and financial institutions, as well as members of car and biking communities and officials from relevant organisations, attended the event.
Speaking at the inauguration, Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan said ‘Supercell Car Bazar’ would serve as a transparent and convenient platform for buyers and sellers by allowing customers to view and assess new, reconditioned and used vehicles in one place while also providing access to financing facilities.
According to the organisers, the initiative aims to create a modern and secure environment for vehicle transactions. They expect that direct interaction between vehicle owners and prospective buyers will help make the country's automobile market more dynamic.
A key feature of the marketplace is that buyers will also be able to communicate directly with representatives of various banks and financial institutions. They can learn about auto loans, vehicle financing and other financial services, making the vehicle purchasing process easier and more convenient.
‘Supercell Car Bazar’ will be held every Friday at the ICCB premises from 10am to 7pm. Buyers will be able to explore vehicles from different brands and models and select those that suit their preferences. Vehicle owners interested in selling their cars will also have an opportunity to present them directly to potential buyers.
The organisers hope that through regular events, ‘Supercell Car Bazar’ will develop into a familiar and popular automobile marketplace for car enthusiasts, buyers and sellers in the capital.
